Chu Se – Kampong Thom Rubber Joint Stock Company has been investing in rubber cultivation and processing in the Kingdom of Cambodia since 2009 through its two subsidiaries, C.R.C.K.2 Aphivath Caoutchouc Co., Ltd and Bean Heack Investment Co., Ltd. The company’s headquarters is located in Popok Commune, Stoung District, Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia.
In 2022, the entire 16,268.68 hectares of rubber plantations were put into operation. The company currently owns 8 farms and 1 processing plant with a capacity of 32,400 tons per year.
The total number of employees and workers of the company is currently 3,279 people, including 155 Vietnamese and 3,124 Cambodians, with an average income of 352 USD/person/month.
Demonstrating its commitment to its employees, the company has built a school, a temple, and medical clinics. The school features three classrooms, a library, and staff quarters. The temple provides a spiritual sanctuary for workers, while the medical clinics offer essential healthcare services. Additionally, the company has ensured that all worker accommodations are equipped with electricity and water, and provides a monthly rice subsidy.
With a track record of excellence, the company has consistently been recognized for its contributions, as evidenced by its impressive collection of awards. These include prestigious honors such as the Labor Orders and numerous Emulation Flags from both domestic and international bodies.
The company was established in 2009 and implemented a rubber plantation project in Cambodia, in accordance with an agreement between the Vietnamese Government and the Kingdom of Cambodia, through two companies: C.R.C.K. 2 Aphivath Caoutchouc Co., Ltd and BEAN HEACK INVESTMENT CO., LTD.
From 2010 to 2014, the company planted 16,268.68 hectares of new rubber trees across three provinces: Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, and Preah Vihear.
The entire team worked tirelessly to complete the project three years ahead of schedule, with a total initial investment exceeding 107 million USD.
The company achieved a record-breaking 4,539.12 hectares of new plantings in 2014, the highest in the entire VRG group. The company’s plantations have also been recognized as the most beautiful and uniform among all companies in the VRG group.
In 2017, the company commenced rubber tapping operations on a sprawling 16,268.68 hectares.
Fast forward to 2023, and the total rubber yield surged to a remarkable 28,963.69 tons.
With an ambitious target of 30,000 tons set for 2024, the company is poised to maintain its position as the top rubber producer within the group.
The rubber processing plant, with a designed capacity of 32,400 tons per year, began construction in 2017 and was commissioned in 2020.
In 2018, the company was awarded ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2017, and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certifications by BoA and GCerti
In 2023, the company fully met all the requirements for PEFC Chain of Custody certification in the production and provision of investment services for natural rubber.
We are working towards implementing PEFC EDUR DDS to ensure sustainability.
